Department of Foreign Languages has three specialties: English Business Translation, English Secretaries for International Affairs and Japanese Business Translation.
The Specialty of English Business Translation
The Specialty of English Business Translation provides an interdisciplinary study that combines together subjects of English, Finance, Economics and Trade. It is aimed at training students to be interdisciplinary professionals with a good command of basic language skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, and with rich knowledge in finance, foreign economy and trade.
The Specialty of Japanese Business Translation
The Specialty of Japanese Business Translation, based on traditional Japanese courses, is aimed at reinforcing the students’ competence in the use of the Japanese language and their knowledge in economy and trade. Its graduates are expected to be competent for interpretation, translation and business activities in the field of foreign trade.
The Specialty of English Secretaries for International
The Specialty of English Secretaries for International Affairs is aimed at training students to be practical professionals with modern knowledge and necessary qualities to undertake all kinds of foreign-related business. Its graduates are expected to have a good command of English, be familiar with procedures of foreign-related business, and be skilled in the operation of modern office equipment.
